I highly recommend working for hospitals. I worked in retail at Walgreens for the last 4 years and only make barely over $11.50. I hate retail pharmacy, it’s stressful, people are So rude, and you get takin advantage of (unless you suck up to district)! So glad I’m out of there!

I have been very fortunate so far launching my pharmacy tech career. I volunteered in an inpatient pharmacy for the past year and I just got hired as an entry-level pharmacy tech in a hospital making $17.11/hr. Hospitals are the way to go!
